Ashton Town & Country Days Is This Weekend, Starting On Thursday

Ashton signAshton, Iowa — The summertime festivals continue in northwest Iowa. This weekend, it’s Ashton’s turn.

We talked to Tim Christiansen, whose wife is helping set up Ashton Town and Country Days. He says the first activity is a softball tournament on Thursday and Friday.

The Flea Market and Craft Show is Saturday along with Kids carnival, Train and Fire truck Rides. The kids power up for Pedal Tractor Saturday at 11am, Parade at 1 and Shriners White Horse Patrol Show. Visit the De Boer Grocery, enjoy some ice cream and take a shot at the bean bag tournament at 3:30pm. Plus, there will be a dance Saturday night as well.

We’ll hear more from Tim Christiansen as the festivities continue.
