Sheldon Emergency Crews Respond To Three-Vehicle Accident

Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an accident in eastern Sheldon on Thursday (5/30).

The call went out about 8:15 AM Thursday morning. According to on-scene reports, it was a three-car accident. One person was transported to the hospital. Highway 18 was closed for 25 minutes to allow emergency responders to assist the motorists and clean up the scene.

The Sheldon Fire Company, Sheldon Community Ambulance Team, Sheldon Emergency Management, and the Sheldon Police Department responded to the accident.
