Biker Refuses Treatment After Crash

Alton, Iowa — A Spencer motorcyclist complained of minor injuries, but refused medical treatment, in the afternath of a one-vehicle motorcycle accident near Alton Wednesday morning (May 24th).

Orange City-Alton Police officers say the crash happened shortly after 11:30 Wednesday morning, when a 2005 Honda VT1100 motorcycle, driven by 27-year old Robert Jones of Spencer was southbound on Highway 60, near Alton, when he reportedly lost control of his motorcycle, entered the median ditch, and crashed.

Damage to Jones’ bike was estimated at $25-hundred.

Police say Jones complained of minor injuries, but refused medical treatment.  He was ticketed for Failure to Maintain Control.
