Car Side Swiped By Semi

O'BrienSheriff obriensheriff O'Brien SheriffGranville, Iowa — A Sheldon man’s car was sideswiped by a semi on Monday, March 14th near Granville.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 3:31 am on Monday, 32-year-old William Collins of Sheldon was driving a 2015 Hyundai Sonata northbound on Nettle Avenue, northeast of Granville. According to the report, a semi pulling a cattle trailer crossed the center line and side swiped the Hyundai. The semi did not stop and continued southbound on Nettle Avenue.

The Hyundai received $8000 damage.

No injuries were reported.
