Damage Caused to Inwood Business In Accident

Lyon Sheriff Facebook HeaderInwood, Iowa — Two vehicles received minor damage, and an area business was damaged in an accident in Inwood on Monday, January 4th.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 3:37 pm on January 4th, 38-year-old Marc Headley’s 2005 Chevy Uplander van was parked behind the residence of 309 South Oak Street in the driveway, and left unattended in Inwood. Forty-eight-year-old Todd D Reinke’s 2010 Chevy Silverado was parked behind a business. According to the report, for reasons unknown, Headley’s van backed across the alleyway and struck the Silverado. The report continues that Headley’s vehicle then struck some pallets pushing them into the rear of Todd’s True Value at 312 South Main Street.

The van and pickup each received $200 damage. The business received $5,000 damage.

No injuries were reported
