Hull, Iowa — A Hull woman struck a trailer and left the scene of the accident on Thursday in Hull.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that just after 9:15 am on Thursday, 34-year-old Yvonne Morales of Hull was driving a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country minivan eastbound on 1st Street in Hull. According to the report, she struck a parked and unattended 2007 flatbed trailer on 1st Street. Morales left the area but was later located by deputies after being identified by a witness to the accident.
The Chrysler received $5,000 damage; the trailer received $1,500 damage.
No injuries were reported.
Morales was cited with charges for failing to have valid motor vehicle accident insurance, operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license and striking an unattended vehicle or object without leaving notice to owner.
