Matlock Pair Face Multiple Felonies

handcuffs - subject inO’Brien County, Iowa — A Matlock couple each face multiple felony charges after their arrests by O’Brien County Sheriff’s Deputies.

According to the Arrest Report, 20-year old Lacey O’Clair and 36-year old Robert Moriston of Matlock each face multiple counts of Forgery.  Each count is a felony, according to the Arrest Report.  In addition, Moriston was also charged with one felony count of Ongoing Criminal Conduct.

O’Clair was arrested Tuesday, and was released following a court appearance.  Moriston was taken into custody Wednesday at the Woodbury County Jail in Sioux City.

According to court records, the Forgery charges against each individual stems from several instances in which they allegedly passed stolen checks at various Sheldon businesses.  Court records indicate that Moriston’s Ongoing Criminal Conduct charge is related to a series of crimes he is alleged to have committed in O’Brien County during November and December, 2015.
