Melvin, Iowa — A Melvin man has been arrested and charged with a felony after the report of a disturbance.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, an Osceola County Deputy arrested 47-year-old Lee Roy Dau of Melvin on Friday, December 15th.
The deputy charged Dau with Domestic Abuse Assault — Impeding Flow of Air/Blood Causing Bodily Injury, a Class D Felony; and Simple Assault, a Simple Misdemeanor.
Dau was booked into the Osceola County Jail where, at last report, he was being held on a $5,300 bond.
The arrest stemmed from a report of a disturbance at a home in Melvin.
