Hudson, SD — A Little Rock woman was taken to the hospital after an accident near Hudson, SD.
The Iowa State Patrol reports that about 1:35 PM on Saturday, June 27, 2015, 29-year-old Miley Hoting of Little Rock was driving a 1995 Honda motorcycle eastbound on B30, a mile east of Hudson, SD, but across the Big Sioux River in Sioux County, Iowa.
According to the report, Hoting said that he had not driven a motorcycle regularly for about six years. The report says he failed to navigate a sharp curve to the left. The motorcycle left the roadway, entered the south ditch, and rolled. Both the motorcycle and the driver came to rest in the south ditch. The driver told the trooper that there was nothing wrong with the motorcycle. Hoting said that it was his operator error that caused the collision.
A South Dakota ambulance took Hoting to Sioux Center Health.
Hoting’s Honda motorcycle sustained $4000 in damages.
