Ireton, Iowa — One person was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital after an accident near Ireton on Friday morning, September 29, 2017.
The Iowa State Patrol reports that emergency responders were paged at 7:02 a.m. on Friday. The driver was driving a 2014 Chevy pickup three miles west of Ireton and six miles south.
The report says that the vehicle dropped off onto the shoulder and entered the ditch, and that it struck a culvert causing it to roll. It says the driver was ejected.
The Ireton Ambulance took the victim, whose name is unknown at this time, to Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
The Patrol says the investigation continues.
