Doon, Iowa — A Rock Rapids man struck two deer with his vehicle on Thursday, December 10th near Doon.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 5:56 am on Thursday, 51- year-old Randall Bos was driving a 2014 Ford F-150 southbound on Highway 75, 1/2 mile north of 260th Street. According to the report, several deer ran out of the ditch, and Bos struck two of them.
The Ford received $3500 damage.
No injuries were reported.
