Royal, Iowa — A Royal man struck a deer on Friday, October 9th.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 7:00 pm on Friday, 36-year-old Matthew Block was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado westbound on B-53. According to the report, a deer crossed the road to the north and Block was unable to stop and struck the deer.
The Chevy received $3000 damage.
No injuries were reported.
