Alton, Iowa — A Semi was damaged in an accident near Alton on Tuesday, December 1st.
According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, 48-year-old Ian Lockhart of Orlando, Florida was driving a 2013 Kenworth semi-tractor pulling a freight trailer southbound on Highway 60, one mile north of Alton. According to the report, Lockhart lost control of the vehicle and entered the median.
The Kenworth received $10,000 damage.
No injuries were reported.
The Sheriff’s office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol.
