Sheldon Accident Totals Car Driven By Sioux City Man

Sheldon PD carSheldon, Iowa — Two people from Nebraska may have received minor injuries an accident on Monday, October 28 in Sheldon.

The Sheldon Police Department reports that about 4:05 PM, 36-year-old Jessica DeBoer of Archer was eastbound on Tenth Street in a 2006 Ford SUV. Twenty-five-year-old Isaac Solis of Sioux City was northbound on Seventh Avenue in a 2001 Cadillac.

The vehicles collided in the intersection when DeBoer failed to yield to the Solis vehicle on her right.

Two passengers in the Solis vehicle may have received minor injuries, but were not transported to a hospital. They are 22-year-old Robert Solis of South Sioux City and 19-year-old Antonio Guzman of Dakota City.

DeBoer’s Ford SUV received $2000 damage. Solis’s Cadillac received $4500 in damages, which was enough to total the car.
