A Sibley woman slid into a semi trailer on Friday, November 20th.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 10:30 am, 21-year-old Michael Keller of Sibley was driving a 2000 Buick LaSabre westbound on Highway 9. Thirty-three-year-old Michael Koth of Alta was driving a 2008 Peterbilt pulling a 2009 Great Dane trailer was also westbound on Highway 9 in front of Keller. According to the report, Koth was slowing down to turn south on K-60/ Indian Avenue. Keller failed to provide a safe distance between herself and the vehicle in front of her. Keller struck the rear end of Koth’s trailer.
The Buick received $3,500 damage.
No injuries were reported.
