Rock Valley, Iowa — A Sioux Falls man was taken to the Rock Valley Hospital with injuries he sustained in an accident near Rock Valley on Wednesday, April 20th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 6:22 pm on Thursday, 22-year-old David De Bruin of Sioux Falls, South Dakota was driving a 2015 Mazda Touring eastbound on 290th Street, 10 miles northwest of Rock Valley. According to the report, De Bruin lost control of his vehicle, entered the south ditch and struck a field driveway.
The Mazda received $5000 damage.
De Bruin was transported by the Rock Valley Ambulance to Hegg Memorial Hospital in Rock Valley for treatment of his injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Rock Valley Ambulance and Inwood Rescue.
