Snowplow Hits Vehicle

sioux county sheriff emblemHospers, Iowa — A snowplow hit a vehicle in Hospers on Saturday, December 26th.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 7:20 am, 58-year-old Gregory Hansen of Hospers was driving a 2004 Toyota Tundra pickup eastbound on Main Street in Hospers. Twenty-eight-year-old Tyler Evenhuis of Hospers was driving a 1984 International municipal snowplow northbound on 3rd Avenue. According to the report, the two met in the intersection of Main Street and 3rd Avenue, where Evenhuis struck Hansen.

The Toyota received $4,000 damage.

No injuries were reported
