Ireton, Iowa — Two Le Mars residents were injured after their vehicle hit a field driveway near Ireton on Sunday, August 6th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that just before 8:30 am on Sunday, 22-year-old Sandra Guzman of Le Mars was driving a 2012 Dodge Journey westbound on 500th street, three miles south of Ireton. According to the report, Guzman lost control of the vehicle, entered the south ditch and struck a field driveway.
The Dodge received $10,000 damage.
Guzman and a passenger, Ramon Caro, age 24, of Le Mars both reported minor injuries and declined further
medical attention.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Ireton Fire Department and Ireton Rescue.
