Sioux Center, Iowa — A California man and his passenger were injured in an accident near Sioux Center on Monday, January 25th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 2:39 pm on Monday, 21-year-old Jesse Perez-Chenge of Chula Vista, California was driving a 1991 Chevrolet Caprice eastbound on 390th Street, six and one-half miles west of Sioux Center. According to the report, Perez-Chenge lost control of his vehicle, entered the south ditch and rolled.
The Chevrolet received $3000 damage.
Perez-Chenge and a passenger, 18-year-old Sydney Huizing of Sioux Center reported minor injuries and sought medical attention on their own.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol
