Sioux Center, Iowa — Two Hull residents were injured in a collision in Sioux Center 
on Saturday, April 8th.
The Sioux Center Police Department reports that 12:40 pm on Saturday, that 18-year-old Michaela Vandestroet of Hull was driving a 2003 Buick LeSabre eastbound on 16th Street Southeast in Sioux Center and attempted a left turn onto 13th Avenue Southeast. Twenty-seven-year-old Jessica Brown of Hull was driving a 2014 Ford Fusion southbound on 13th Avenue Southeast. According to the report, Brown collided with Vandestroet in the intersection.
Both Brown and Vandestroet reported minor injuries but declined further medical attention.
The Buick received $5,000 damage; the Ford received $4,500 damage.
