Inwood, Iowa — Two vehicles were damaged in an accident in Inwood on Thursday, May 12th.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that 75-year-old Celia Ten Napel of Sioux Center was stopped along the side of the street in a 2010 Mercury Mariner near US 18 and Main Street in Inwood. Sixty-nine-year-old George Caswell was driving a 2002 Ford F-150 past Ten Napel. According to the report, Ten Napel started to pull out and struck Caswell.
The Mercury received $2000 damage. The Ford received $1000 damage.
No injuries were reported.
Lyon County Deputies were assisted by Inwood Fire and Inwood Rescue.
