Primghar, Iowa — Two vehicles were damaged in an accident near Primghar on Wednesday, February 10th.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 6:36 pm on Wednesday, 55-year-old Todd Schmidt of Spencer was driving a 2002 Chevrolet van eastbound and turning onto Highway 59. Nineteen-year-old Samuel Johnson of Primghar was driving a 2003 Dodge Durango northbound on Highway 59. According to the report, Schmidt proceeded into northbound traffic and struck Johnson. The report continues that Schmidt could not see Johnson coming due to the snowbank at the intersection.
The Chevrolet received $1500 damage; the Dodge received $2500 damage.
No injuries were reported
