Vehicle Damaged After Hitting Tractor

Sioux Sheriff 84-8 FacebookRock Valley, Iowa — An Inwood woman’s vehicle was damaged after striking a farm tractor northwest of Rock Valley on Friday, January 8th.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 2:31 pm on Friday, 47-year-old Jerome Vande Stroet of Inwood was driving a 1991 Case International farm tractor pulling a bail processor southbound on Beech Avenue, about 10 miles northwest of Rock Valley. Thirty-nine-year-old Crystal Klarenbeek of Inwood was driving a 2010 Chevy Traverse northbound on Beech Avenue. According to the report, both vehicles were driving on a narrow, snowplowed portion of the roadway when they met and struck each other.

The Chevy received $3500 damage.

No injuries were reported
