SCDC, KIWA Radio, and Community Blood Bank will host their “All American” blood drive on Monday, June 24t^h from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Sheldon’s Community Services Building.

All blood types are in immediate need.  All who donate will receive a free lunch and an ALL AMERICAN BLOOD DONOR t-shirt.

“Community support is vital to the local blood supply. It is important to know that the blood that is donated with Community Blood Bank is from your friends and neighbors in this region,” states Ken Versteeg, Executive Director, Community Blood Bank.  “We are grateful for the opportunity to serve Sheldon area patients and encourage the community to help us by donating on the bloodmobile when it visits Sheldon.”

Sanford Sheldon Medical Center blood needs are supplied by Community Blood Bank. Community Blood Bank has been the sole provider of blood and blood product for Sanford Sheldon Medical Center for over 17 years.

Donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 years old with signed parent consent form), weigh 110 lbs or more and be in good general health the day of the blood drive.  Please bring a form of I.D. with you.  To schedule an appointment or for more information, call the Sheldon Chamber at 324-2813.  Walk-ins are welcome!
