A free Iowa DNR hunter safety course will be offered at Oak Grove Park for ages 11 and over on Tuesday, Aug 13^th  from 9:00 am-7:00 pm.

Participants will be instructed on safe gun handling, laws, wildlife management, outdoor safety, archery, muzzleloading, and ethics.  The day will include shooting shotgun, rifle, and archery with certified hunter safety instructors.

Participants must pre-register online at www.register-ed.com.  A limited number of people will be taken.  In addition to attending the full course and passing the written test, participants must also fill out review questions and bring them into class.  You will receive an email after you register, with the materials needed.
