Sheldon’s 21st Mayor’s National Day of Prayer will be held on Thursday, May 3rd at the Living Water Community Church at 6:30 pm
Keynote speak will be Brian Westphalen, a Sheldon graduate, and works with Freedom in Christ Ministries. Brian and his wife, Jewl, live in Knoxville, Tennessee near the ministry headquarters. Brian’s topic will be “Lord, show my your perspective when I pray.”
The theme for this years National Day of Prayer is UNITY and it comes from the passage Ephesians 4:3 “Making every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace.”
The prayer event is sponsored by the Sheldon Area Ministerial Association and the local National Day of Prayer Task Force and they encourage everyone to attend.
