March 18, 2013
A regular meeting was called to order this date by Mayor Mike Otto. Roll call was answered by Council Members John Ihle, Justin Stamer, John Muller and Charles Harper, Superintendent of Utilities Kevin Tesch, Also present: Lauri Struve and Dale Opdahl. Absent: Council Member Martin Weber, City Clerk Sandy Fritz
The following proceedings were had, to-wit:
AGENDA Stamer moved and Ihle seconded the motion to approve the agenda for the March 18, 2013 regular meeting. Motion carried by all ayes.
TREASURER’S REPORT Stamer moved and Harper seconded the motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report for the month of February 2013. Motion carried by all ayes.
INQUIRIES FROM THE None
LIQUOR LICENSES Stamer moved and Muller seconded the motion to approve a Class C Liquor License with Sunday Sales for Dyno’s. Motion carried by all ayes.
Stamer moved and Ihle seconded the motion to approve a Class C Liquor License with Sunday Sales for Timber Grill. Motion carried by all ayes.
Stamer moved and Muller seconded the motion to approve a Class C Liquor License with Sunday Sales and Outdoor Sales for the Paullina Golf Club. Motion carried by all ayes.
AMBULANCE RESIGNATION Ambulance personnel resignation was tabled until a later date.
ELECTRIC LINEMAN Interviews for the Electric Lineman position will be scheduled for March 29, 2013.
PART TIME SNOW REMOVAL Stamer moved and Harper seconded the motion to set the wages at $12.00 per hour for part time snow removal. Motion carried by all ayes.
COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS, MARCH 18, 2013
BUILDING PERMITS Muller moved and Ihle seconded the motion to approve a Building Permit for Mill Creek Machining to construct an addition to their existing building at 119 N. Willow Street. Motion carried with Council Member Stamer abstaining.
SPRING CLEAN UP Mayor Otto will send letters to 317 S Maple and 406 S Mickley to find out the status of each property.
ADJOURNMENT The time being 8:05 p.m., Harper moved and Ihle seconded the motion to adjourn. Motion carried by all ayes.
