PROCEEDINGS OF O’BRIEN COUNTY SUPERVISORS

April 30, 2013

The Board of Supervisors met as per adjournment in regular session at 9:00 a.m. with all members present.

Moved by Friedrichsen, seconded by McDowell to approve the proceedings of April 23, 2013. Motion carried by all ayes.

Moved by DeBoom, seconded by Steensma to authorize the Chairman to sign the Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement with the Technology Review Team for providing a technology review of the County’s computer related equipment. Motion carried by all ayes.

Moved by DeBoom, seconded by Friedrichsen to approve the appointment of Full-time Jail Officer Sara Stover effective May 1, 2013 and to set her hourly rate at $18.50 per hour during her training/introductory period. Motion carried by all ayes.

Moved by Steensma, seconded by DeBoom to approve a claim to Toshiba Financial Services for the Auditor’s copier lease in the amount of $136.98. Motion carried by all ayes.

Moved by Friedrichsen, seconded by McDowell to approve the liquor license application of The Hide Out. Motion carried by all ayes.

Moved by McDowell, seconded by Friedrichsen to approve the Request for Quote on the Sound System for the Courtroom in the O’Brien County Courthouse. Motion carried by all ayes.

Moved by DeBoom, seconded by Steensma to hold a budget amendment hearing on the County’s Fiscal 2013 budget at 9:15 a.m. May 14, 2013. Motion carried by all ayes.

Moved by Friedrichsen, seconded by McDowell to approve the Secondary Road DOT 2013 Construction program amendment # 2. Motion carried by all ayes.

Moved by McDowell, seconded by Friedrichsen to set 10:00 a.m. May 28, 2013 as the time to accept quotes for a bridge replacement project and for micro surfacing on County Roads L-38 & B-60 near Germantown. Motion carried by all ayes.

Moved by Friedrichsen, seconded by DeBoom to adjourn to May 7, 2013. Motion carried by all ayes.
