The Board of Supervisors met as per adjournment in regular session at 9:00 a.m. with all members present.

Moved by Friedrichsen, seconded by McDowell to approve the proceedings of March 25, 2014. Motion carried by all ayes.

Moved by Farnsworth, seconded by Steensma to approve the hourly rate for Communications Operator Sara Stover at $20.50 per hour effective March 12, 2014. Motion carried by all ayes.

Moved by Friedrichsen, seconded by McDowell to approve the utility construction application of NW Rural Electric Coop. on Olive Avenue from 410th to 430th Street. Motion carried by all ayes.

Moved by Steensma, seconded by Farnsworth to approve the Fiscal 2015 Secondary Road Budget and Program. Motion carried by all ayes.

Moved by McDowell, seconded by Friedrichsen to adopt Resolution No. 2014-8 a RESOLUITON OF THE O’BRIEN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS PETITIONING THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR EXTENSION OF O’BRIEN COUNTY, SHELDON EZ-1 AND SUTHERLAND EZ-1. Motion carried by all ayes.

Moved by Farnsworth, seconded by Steensma to adopt Resolution No. 2014-9 a Resolution Establishing the O’Brien County Enterprize Zone Commission and appointing Nancy McDowell to that commission. Motion carried by all ayes.

Moved by Friedrichsen, seconded by Farnsworth to adjourn to April 8, 2014. Motion carried by all ayes.
