The Board of Supervisors met as per adjournment in regular session at 9:00 a.m. with all members present.

Moved by Friedrichsen, seconded by Farnsworth to approve the proceedings of July 29, 2014. Motion carried by all ayes.

Moved by Steensma, seconded by Farnsworth to adopt the following resolution. Motion carried by all ayes.

Resolution No. 2014-41
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, O’BRIEN COUNTY, IOWA

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors is empowered under authority of Section 306.41 of the Code of Iowa to temporarily close sections of road by formal resolution when they deem necessary for construction, maintenance, or natural disaster,

AND WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors, County of O’Brien, have determined that the following section of road should be temporarily closed due to road construction:

Grading (14-23 Lincoln)

County road 300th Street from Tanager to Tyler Ave.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the above described roads be closed temporarily in the manner described below.

“ROAD CLOSED” signs shall be placed on both ends of the described segments of road, and they shall remain in place until the construction is completed.

Moved by Steensma, seconded by Farnsworth to adopt the following resolution. Motion carried by all ayes.

RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, O’BRIEN COUNTY, IOWA

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors is empowered under authority of Section 306.41 of the Code of Iowa to temporarily close sections of road by formal resolution when they deem necessary for construction, maintenance, or natural disaster,

AND WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors, County of O’Brien, have determined that the following section of road should be temporarily closed due to road construction:

Grading (3-10 Lincoln)

County road 280th Street from Taft to Tanager Ave.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the above described roads be closed temporarily in the manner described below.

“ROAD CLOSED” signs shall be placed on both ends of the described segments of road, and they shall remain in place until the construction is completed.

Moved by Friedrichsen, seconded by Steensma to adjourn to August 12, 2014. Motion carried by all ayes.
