Orange City, Iowa — A criminal charge against a Sheldon man has been dropped.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year-old Leroy Raffaelli of Sheldon on March 30th, during a traffic stop on Highway 75, four miles south of Sioux Center. Raffaelli was accused of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
According to court records, the Possession of Drug Paraphernalia charge levied against Raffaelli was dismissed by Sioux County Judge Dan Pluim on May 1.
KIWA News would like to remind all listeners that a criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
