Sheldon, Iowa — A car that was legally parked was struck by second vehicle in the Sheldon High School parking lot yesterday (Monday) morning about 7:30.
Sheldon Police say a 1993 Buick, driven by 17-year old Steve Garnes Collins of Sheldon, made a wide right turn while entering the parking lot, brushing the front of a 2006 Chevrolet Impala, owned by Larry Towne of Hartley.
Damage to Towne’s Chevy were estimated at about $2,100, while damage to the Buick driven by Garnes Collins was estimated at about $750.
No injures were reported.
