Hull, Iowa — A George man was taken to a hospital after an accident near Hull on Thursday, December 28th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 3:15 p.m., 68-year-old Wyatt Kruger of George was driving a 1993 Plymouth Voyager minivan westbound on 280th Street, five miles northwest of Hull. He stopped for the stop sign at Highway 75. They say 56-year-old Jeanette Saugstad of Sioux Falls, SD was driving a 2011 Kia Sedona minivan northbound on Highway 75. According to the report, Kruger drove into the intersection and struck Saugstad.
The Hull Ambulance Squad took Kruger to the Sioux Center Health Hospital.
The Plymouth sustained about $1,500 in damage. The Kia sustained about $2,000 in damage.
The Sheriff’s Office says the Hull Fire Department and Hull Ambulance Squad assisted them with the response to the accident, which remains under investigation.
