Hospers, Iowa — The investigation into a reported identity theft resulted in the arrest of a Worthington, Minnesota woman Monday.
Sioux County Sheriff’s officials say they received a report of an identity theft that allegedly occurred at a business in Hospers. Upon investigation, deputies say they discovered that 34-year old Brenda Contarero-Olivera of Worthington was illegally using another person’s name to gain employment.
Authorities say they arrested Contarerro-Olivera for Identity Theft and Forgery, Class D Felonies.
