Picking Someone Up At Jail Results In Arrest, Overnight Stay At Jail

Orange City, Iowa — A trip to pick up someone from the Sioux County Jail ended in a felony charge and an overnight stay in that very jail for a Rock Valley man.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office advises that on Saturday morning, February 23rd, 47-year-old Rick Van Hill arrived at the Sioux County Jail to pick up someone who was being released. Deputies determined that Van Hill’s driver’s license was suspended and suspected that he was under the influence of alcohol.
