Sheriff’s Office Seeks Information On Driver Of Semi

Hull, Iowa — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help to possibly get some clues as to the identity of a driver.

They report that on Friday, April 27, at 1:18 p.m., their deputies investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred on 310th Street, three miles northwest of Hull, east of Highway 75, before 310th turns into Highway 18.

They report that 40-year-old Brandon Schueder of Calumet was driving a 2018 Kenworth semi truck eastbound on 310th Street. Schueder met a black semi truck pulling a flatbed trailer traveling westbound on 310th Street when a piece of wood dislodged from the flatbed trailer and struck the Kenworth.

No injuries were reported. The Sheriff’s Office says the black semi did not stop after the accident and continued driving westbound.

The Kenworth sustained about $5,000 in damage.

They ask that if anyone has any information about this accident that they contact the Sheriff’s Office.
