Sibley Woman Jailed After Traffic Stop

Sibley, Iowa — A Sibley woman was taken to jail early Saturday evening, charged with one felony and one misdemeanor crime.

According to information from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, an Osceola County Deputy made a traffic stop at 1st Avenue and 6th Street in Sibley shortly before 6:00 Saturday evening. Upon investigation, the deputy arrested 48-year-old Donna Patricia Macmain of Sibley for allegedly Operating While Intoxicated, 3rd Offense, which is a Class D Felony, as well as allegedly Driving While License Revoked, which is a serious misdemeanor.

Authorities say Macmain was booked into the Osceola County Jail in lieu of a $6,000 bond.
