Sioux Falls Woman Faces Felony Drug Charges After Traffic Stop

Hospers, Iowa — A Sioux Falls woman faces felony drug charges after a traffic stop in Hospers on Friday.

According to court records, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Angela Dawn Latham of Sioux Falls. She was a passenger in the vehicle, and according to the report, she exited the vehicle and took off on foot. When she was apprehended, the report says she gave officers a false name. The officer says she was wanted in Minnehaha County, South Dakota, and was found in possession of over an ounce of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

She was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, With Intent to Deliver, which is a class B felony in Iowa. She was additionally charged with Failure To Affix a Drug Tax Stamp, a class D felony, and a misdemeanor count of Obstructing Prosecution or Defense.
