Inwood, Iowa — Two vehicles were damaged after an accident in Inwood on Saturday, January 2nd.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that 40-year-old Perry Van De Kieft of Inwood was backing out of a parking spot in a 1997 Dodge Ram pickup on Main Street in Inwood. Sixty-four-year-old Loren Klarenbeek of Inwood was driving a 2002 Chevy S10 pickup on Main Street. According to the report, Van De Kieft backed out of his parking spot and into the path of Klarenbeek and was struck on the passenger side.
The Dodge received $2750 damage; the S10 received $100 damage.
No injuries were reported
