Two Vehicle Accident Near Sioux Center

sioux county sheriff emblemSioux Center, Iowa — A semi and a pickup were damaged in an accident near Sioux Center on Tuesday, September 1st.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 7:29 am on Tuesday, 31-year-old Shannon Schuller of Orange City was driving a 2000 Peterbilt semi-tractor pulling a tank-trailer eastbound on a service road of Siouxland Energy Livestock Cooperative, two miles west of Sioux Center. Thirty-one-year-old Brian Newman of Wolcottville, Indiana was driving a 2001 Dodge Dakota eastbound on the service road beside Schuller. According to the report, Schuller turned right and struck Newman.

The Peterbilt and Dodge both received $10000 damage.

No injuries were reported
