Rock Rapids, Iowa — Two vehicles were damaged in an accident in Rock Rapids on Tuesday, December 15th.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 8:00 am on Tuesday, 34-year-old Pamela Holland of Rock Rapids was driving a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan northbound on Greene Street. Thirty-seven-year-old Jennifer Nordman of Larchwood was operating a 2014 Chevy Sonic eastbound on 3rd Avenue. According to the report, Nordman approached the intersection and continued through and failed to obey a yield sign that was present at that intersection. Nordman’s vehicle was then struck by Holland in the intersection.
The Chevy received $5000 damage. The Dodge received $1000 damage.
No injuries were reported
