Hospers, Iowa — A woman living in Worthington and working in Hospers has been arrested on two felony charges.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Monday morning, February 29, their officers arrested 33-year-old Efifania Lopez‐Ramirez, of Worthington, MN.
The arrest stemmed from an investigation of a report of an identity theft that occurred at a business in Hospers.
Upon further investigation, deputies believe that Lopez‐Ramirez was illegally using a Texas resident’s identity
for the past three years.
Lopez‐Ramirez was charged with forgery and identity theft, which are both class “D” felonies.
