Woman Suffers Minor Injuries In Accident

AccidentGeneric 2Granville, Iowa — A Paullina woman sustained minor injuries as the result of a one-vehicle traffic accident on Highway 10, one half mile west of Granville Monday morning.

According to the accident report, 88-year old Josephine Linn, of Paullina, was westbound on Highway 10 in a 2005 Dodge Stratus when she lost control of the vehicle, crossed the eastbound lane, entered the south ditch and struck a ditch embankment.

Deputies say Linn was transported by the Granville Ambulance to the Orange City Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The Dodge sustained approximately $3,500 in damages.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Granville Ambulance, Granville Fire Department and Iowa State Patrol.

Deputies say Linn was cited for failing to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
