The NCC Foundation recently received a grant from the American Legion of Iowa Foundation for these scholarships. The funds are to be awarded this fall to NCC students who are also veterans.  Jim Rolfes of the American Legion, was on campus recently to present the check to Jan Snyder and Kristi Landis from the NCC Foundation.

The American Legion Foundation was incorporated in 1978 and its purpose was to provide financial assistance to promote Americanism, youth programs, and veteran’s assistance along with community service.  For more information on the American Legion Scholarship offered through Northwest Iowa Community College, contact the NCC Foundation Office at 800-352-4907.
