Weather Causes Delays, Cancelations

Sheldon, Iowa — Some of the biggest news around the area this Monday has been the weather. Freezing drizzle caused most of the schools not already out due to President’s Day, to cancel classes for Monday.

Meterorologist Andrew Kalin of the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls said there were widespread reports of freezing precipitation around the area Monday morning.

Kalin Says there’s more precipitation on the way.

He says after Tuesday, the weather should remain fairly quiet………….for a while.

So, as we shuffle through more wintry, slippery weather, we just keep telling ourselves, “Spring is almost here.”
