16th Street Project & Sewer Rates Highlight City Council Agenda

Sheldon, Iowa — The 16th Street Project and sewer rates are among the many items on the agenda for the Sheldon City Council when they meet this Wednesday April 18th.

The Council will be asked to set the date and time for a public hearing on the 16th Street project, address the final reading of the Sewer Project  and hear a report from the O’Brien County Development Director. 

They will also be asked to set the date and times for public hearings to rezone the Sheldon Crossroads North Business Park and rezoning of Rustic Ridge, as well as a public hearing on the Sheldon Crossroads North Business Park.  Other items on the agenda include consideration to show support for a Home Rule Proclamation and consideration of a request concerning lots in the Trilogy Village area from Fred’s Plumbing and Heating and Poppema-Sikma Construction.

Wednesday afternoon’s meeting will begin at 4:30 in the upper level of the Sheldon Community Services Center.
