7th Annual Sheldon Gun Show Is Saturday

Sheldon, Iowa — The 7th Annual Sheldon Gun, Knife and Outdoor Sports Expo is scheduled for this Saturday, February 17th at the National Guard Armory in Sheldon.

Show organizers say 65 to 70 tables of merchandise will be there to examine and buy, including gun dealers, and a knife sharpener to return your knives to a razor sharp edge. In addition, show organizers say there will be a military memorabilia collector, and a recruiter for the National Rifle Association.

If you’ve been meaning to get your Iowa Permit to Carry Weapons, an NRA-certified instructor will be on hand, offering an approximately 30-minute permit class to get you certified to apply for a permit from your county sheriff.

Organizers say that both the O’Brien and Sioux County Sportsmen’s Clubs will be on-hand at Saturday’s show, as well.

Both breakfast and lunch will be available on-site, direct from the folks at the Sheldon Hy-Vee Kitchen.

Doors for Saturday’s gun show will open to the public at 8am, with exhibitor set up available at 6am Saturday, and the show will run until approximately 4:00 Saturday afternoon. Once again this year, the show will be held at the National Guard Armory, located at 920 Western Avenue, or two blocks south of K&J Cycle in Sheldon.
