Does that mean the fuel system is destroyed before the body rusts off the frame? There are plenty of vehicles around with 200,000 – 300,000 miles that have been running ethanol for 20 years, but the bodies aren’t in very good shape.

You do have a choice. There are pumps at every gas station, that do not supply ethanol blended fuel. Use them, and pay more.

You can’t have both cheap fuel, and no ethanol in it. So if your personal expertise proves it’s that much better for your car, go ahead and support your nearest local arab shiek. They need your $$.

We should have a choice in fuels not be forced to use ethanol because its what our government wants!
