Date posted - November 1, 2013

Ag PartnersSheldon, Iowa — AgPartners L.L.C. is pleased to announce their two feed production plants in Sheldon have developed and implemented a “HACCP Program and Quality Management System”. The HACCP program is a systematic approach to the identification, evaluation, and control of food safety hazards. It is a proactive strategy where hazards are identified and assessed, and control measures are developed to prevent, reduce, or eliminate a hazard.

To control such hazards the team developed and implemented GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and other pre-requisites that were approved in a certified and accredited audit provided ‘SGS North America’, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company.

AgPartners’ feed division mission statement is “AgPartners L.L.C. is dedicated to manufacturing quality feeds in conformance with FDA regulations, current GMPs, approved HACCP principles and customer requirements, ensuring the safety of a complex and global food supply. The feed division communicates and trains our staff to use best practices for food safety which are verified by audits and customer satisfaction.”
