Airport To Get New Equipment Storage Facility

Sheldon, Iowa — Within the next several weeks  you should be seeing a new building going up at the Sheldon Regional Airport.

Sheldon City Manager Sean Hutchison talks about the new structure.

Hutchison says the City of Sheldon will be responsible for paying a mere 10-percent of the building’s cost.

He says construction should be completed before the end of this year’s construction season.

The new building will be constructed to the west of the current hangar, on the south side of the airport driveway. Hutchison says that, eventually, more hangars are planned for that area of the airport, as well.
